Special Effort also sired 1991 world champion Special Leader and other champions Bully Bullion, Special Project, Sweet N Special, and Special Phoebe. He was euthanized March 11, 2006 on the Four Sixes Ranch.

SI 100 (by Jet Deck, out of Lenas Bar, by Three Bars) Earner of $445,723 and an AQHA Hall of Fame inductee. He was named 1969 AQHA World Champion Quarter Running Horse, 1969 Champion Quarter Running Stallion, 1969 Champion Quarter Running 2 Year Old Colt, 1970 Champion Quarter Running Stallion, and 1970 Champion Quarter Running 3 Year Old Colt.  He also won the All-American Fut.  He died of laminitis May 8, 1992.  He was the sire of 9 Race World Champions; 2 Performance Superiors; 35 Performance Point Earners; 13 Performance ROMs; AQHA Champion; Barrel Racing/ Race Get Money-earners; 1,563 Race ROMs; 112 Superior Race; 8 Halter Point Earners; His legendary breeder Walter Merrick passed away on Feb. 3, 2006.





Raise Your Glass
1968 Chestnut TB 19-4-5-4 (by Raise A Native, out of Champaigne Woman, by Barbizon) He has earnings of $81,222 and won the Tremont Stakes.  He is the sire of performance and race ROMs, AAAT runners, AQHA superior earners, race and stakes winners, and Racing World Champions. His offspring have won over $10.2 million.  He is the sire of Special Effort QH, the only QH triple crown winner of the Kansas Futurity, the Rainbow Futurity, and the All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs.

Dash For Cash SI 114 (by Rocket Wrangler, out of Find A Buyer, by To Market) He ran AAAT on the track.  He won theLos Alamitos Derby, Champions of Champions Invitational (twice), 1976 World Champion Quarter Running Horse, and was named the 1977 World Champion Quarter Running Horse (twice).  He is the an All-Time Leading Running Sire and was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame.  He is the sire of First Down Dash, Dashingly, Dashing Folly, SLM Big Daddy, Dash for Speed, and Dash`s Dream to name a few.  He sired 827 winners (145 stakes winners) from 1,155 starters with get earnings of $39,990,245.






Rocket Wrangler SI 97 (by Rocket Bar (TB), out of Go Galla Go, by Go Man Go) He ran AAA on the track and earned an AQHA ROM as well as his race Superior.  His race record was 23-10-4-4, with  $252,167 in earnings.  he was named the 1970 World Champion 2YO Running Colt(50 pts.).  He was the winner of the 1st Rainbow Futurity $33,966, the 1970 All American Futurity $178,488, and the 1st NM State Fair $5,209. Will be inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2010.  He is also the sire of Dash For Cash, AQHA Hall Of Fame Inductee.







Go Man Go SI 100 (by Top Deck, out of Lightfoot Sis, by Very Wise(TB)) He is a chestnut rabicano, not red roan as he is registered.  He ran AAAT on the track, and earned his AQHA Race ROM.  His track record is 47-27(1)-9(2)-3(3) with earnings of $86,150.  He was named the 1955, 1956 & 1957 AQHA World Champion Quarter Racing Stallion.  He won the Autumn Championship and Pacific Coast QHRA Futurity, and is an AQHA Hall of Fame inductee.

Zevi 1973 Brown TB (by Cornish Prince, out of Spire, by Carry Back) His race record was 10-2-1-2, with earnings of  $16,750.  He is the sire of 50 AQHA stake winners with offspring earnings of $7 million.  He is a leading broodmare sire, and was foaled in Kentucky in 1973.










Three Bars 1940 Chestnut TB (by Percentage, out of Myrtle Dee, by Luke McLuke)  His race record was 28-12-3-1 with $20,840 in earnings.  He won the Speed Handicap and was the leading sire of racing Quarter horses for many years.  He was the sire of 29 AQHA Champions, 4 AQHA Supreme Champions, 317 Racing Register of Merit earners, and his foals earned more than $3 million.  Three Bars was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame 1989 and died April 6, 1968.







Hempen 1962 Chestnut TB (by Indian Hemp, out of Serry, by Spy Song)  His race record was 20-11-2-1 with earnings of $108,808.  He won the Olympia Handicap, the Midwest Handicap, the Snaro Handicap, the San Miguel Stakes, the 2nd California Breeders Champion Stakes, the Los Feliz Stakes.  ETR Sportsmans Park 6 furlongs in 1:10.3, NTR Arlington Park 6-1/2 furlongs in 1:15 flat. Hempen sired TB winners earning $3.5 million, and AQHA winners earning $7.3 million. He had 806 AQHA registered foals.  Out of 642 AQHA Performance foals, he had 640 starters, 450 winners, 40 stakes winners, and 46 stakes placers.
